Built for Lightweight Skiff Racing
The MG14 is a lightweight skiff where sail quality makes an immediate difference. At just 14 feet, the boat is responsive, fast, and unforgiving.
Mainsails and headsails are built using ZZ04OD cloth, selected for its weight-to-strength ratio and shape retention characteristics. Mainsails use tri-radial panel layout optimised for the MG14's rig geometry. Headsails use radial hybrid construction for consistent shape across the wind range.
Spinnakers are available in AIRX or Dynakote 75. AIRX offers durability and consistent performance across a wide wind range. AIRX is lighter and faster in light air but requires more careful handling. Optional silicone coating improves water resistance and reduces flutter in marginal conditions.
